Greater Mercury Invoking Ritual of the Hexagram

GREATER MERCURY INVOKING RITUAL OF THE HEXAGRAM

Perform this ritual whenever you want to strengthen your Reasoning, Concentration or Communication.  

Part I:  Preliminary Rituals

1.   Perform the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.

2.   Perform the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram.

3.   Perform the Lesser Invoking Ritual of the Pentagram.

4.   Perform the Lesser Invoking Ritual of the Hexagram.

Part II:  Hexagrams and Sacred Names

5.  Go to the East of the Altar.  Trace a Yellow Mercury Invoking Hexagram, with the Index Finger of your       Right hand, while vibrating "ARARITA" (Ah.Rah.Ree.Tah).

6.  Point the center of the Hexagram with your Index Finger.  In the center of the Hexagram, draw a Yellow       Mercury Planetary Symbol .   While doing so, vibrate the God Name 

     ELOHIM TZAVAOTH (Ehl.Oh.Heem Tz.Ah.Vah.Oht).  Make the Sign of the Enterer,                       sending Yellow Light through the Mercury Symbol.  Give the Sign of Osiris Slain and                           L.V.X. Signs.  Do not call out the Letters or Names.  

7.  Raise your arms slightly, reaching up and in front of you.  Say, vibrating the God Name:

     "In the name of ELOHIM TZAVAOTH, I invoke ye, ye Forces of KOKAV (Koh.Kahv)!"

     Point to the Mercury Symbol.  Trace a line of White Light as you move to the South.                             Finish the line at the point where the center of the next Hexagram will be.

8.  Repeat steps 5 through 7 in each direction, until you are again facing East.

9.  Return to the Center of your Circle.  Face the current location of Mercury (or South).                             Make another Hexagram, as in steps 5 through 7.

10.  Raise your arms slightly, reaching up and in front of you.                                                                         In the following Invocation, vibrate each name.  Sigils are only appropriate for spirits                             (Archangels, Angels and other spirits).  These are given below.  Vibrate each of these                             names once.  As you vibrate the names of the Archangel and Angel, make the sigils.                               There is no need to write the Hebrew Names.  I give them only for reference purposes.                           The Sigils are Yellow.  Say,     

     "In the name of ELOHIM TZAVAOTH, 

       the Archangel RAPHAEL (Rah.Fah.Ehl), 

       and of the Planetary Intelligence TIRIEL (Tee.Ree.Ehl), 

       I invoke ye, ye Forces of KOKAV (Koh.Kahv)."

11.  Give the Sign of Osiris Slain and the L.V.X. Signs.

Part III:  Practical Magick

12.  State the purpose of this ritual, saying,

       "It is the Intention of this Ritual that the Forces of the Planet Mercury shall ______."

13.  If you intend to Charge an object (such as a Talisman, Food, etc.), perform the                                       Ritual of the Middle Pillar, making the Light and Spheres Yellow.  Either hold the object             or         hold your hands over (or toward) the object.  Petition the forces to complete your goal.

       If you intend to skry for Visions of Mercury's Influence, enter a light Meditative                                     State and await any Visions that may come to you.  Record any images you perceive in                           whatever manner is easiest for you.

Part IV: Final Banishings

14.  Put away any Tools or other Charged objects before performing Banishing.

15.  Give a License to Depart, saying,
       "I now release any spirits that may have been imprisoned by this ritual.                                             Depart in Peace to thy Abodes and Habitations and go with the Blessing of                                     ELOHIM TZAVAOTH."

16.  Perform the Greater Mercury Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram.

17.  Perform the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.

NOTE:  As with other Planetary Invoking Rituals, it is very important to Banish its force                                   when you are done employing it. Failing to do so can result in excessive speaking                                 and an overactive mind.
