Requirements of an Ovate

After the student has attained a sufficient knowledge of Alternative Medicine and History, they become an Ovate. This is the equivalent to the Magister Templi in our Hermetic System.

As an Ovate, the individual should take the skills they developed as a Bard to a deeper level.  The student should study Nature and various systems of Divination.  This, mixed with the skills of a Bard, make the Ovate a skilled Healer, Seer and Observer.

In the interest of finding an expression of this path in the physical world, the individual may wish to seek out a career in Alternative Medicine, Counseling or Police work.  All require very different schooling.  These are suggestions, only.

To get to the next degree, Druid, it is necessary to become proficient at all of the above and learn something of Practical Magick and Metaphysical Healing techniques.
