Reiki 3 Self Attunement

To Attune to Reiki III (Reiki Master\Teacher Level), you will need to know the Dai Ko Myo symbol:  .

It means, "Divine Light of the Universe, Shine on me." It is a written invocation to the Divine for power and inspiration. It summons Spiritual Power for Healing, working at the deepest levels of the psyche to heal imbalances and disease.

1. Relax the mind and body.

2. Visualize pure, white light flooding your aura, purifying it.

3. Visualize the Dai Ko Myo symbol in the Crown Chakra. Invoke it by either mentally or verbally chanting its name “Day Koe Moy-Yo” three times.

4. Visualize the Dai Ko Myo symbol in the Root Chakra. Invoke it by either mentally or verbally chanting its name “Day Koe Moy-Yo” three times.

5. Visualize the Dai Ko Myo symbol at the back of your head, in the Brow Chakra. Invoke it by mentally or verbally chanting its name three times.

6. Visualize the Dai Ko Myo symbol behind you, just above the Root Chakra, in the Sacral (also sometimes called the “Genital”) Chakra. Invoke it by mentally or verbally chanting its name three times.

7. Visualize the Dai Ko Myo symbol at the back of your throat, in the Throat Chakra. Invoke it by mentally or audibly chanting its name three times.

8. Visualize the Dai Ko Myo symbol at the back of your solar plexus. Invoke it by chanting its name three times.

9. Visualize the Dai Ko Myo symbol behind your chest, in the middle of your back, within the Heart Chakra. Invoke it by chanting its name either mentally or verbally three times.

10. Visualize the Dai Ko Myo symbol in the Root Chakra. Invoke it by either mentally or verbally chanting its name “Day Koe Moy-Yo” three times.

11. Visualize the Dai Ko Myo symbol on your forehead, in the Brow Chakra. Invoke it by mentally or verbally chanting its name three times.

12. Visualize the Dai Ko Myo symbol in the area your genitals are, just above the Root Chakra, in the Sacral (Sexual) Chakra. Invoke it by mentally or verbally chanting its name three times.

13. Visualize the Dai Ko Myo symbol at the front of your throat, in the Throat Chakra. Invoke it by mentally or audibly chanting its name three times.

14. Visualize the Dai Ko Myo symbol at the front of your solar plexus. Invoke it by chanting its name three times.

15. Visualize the Dai Ko Myo symbol in the middle of your chest, within the Heart Chakra. Invoke it by chanting its name either mentally or verbally three times.

16. One at a time, invoke the Dai Ko Myo symbol into the chakras in the palm of each hand in the manner described above (visualize the symbol and chant its name three times).

17. One at a time, invoke the Dai Ko Myo symbol into the chakras at the bottom of each foot.

18. Know that you have completed the attunement and are now a loving practitioner of Reiki 3.

Once you have completed this attunement and become familiar with the use of the Dai Ko Myo Symbol, and have mastered the use of the previous three Reiki Symbols, as well, you will have become a Reiki Master and can now teach it.
