Worship of any god, including YHVH (often incorrectly called Jehovah) or Jesus Christ is a sin according to the teachings of the old testament.  It does not matter if that worship is done by making an idol, or simply holding such a god in such high regard that he (or his commandments\rules) is obeyed without thought.  It all goes back to the original sin when Adam and Eve took fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in Paradise:  While Adam and Eve were in Paradise, prior to that act, they saw themselves, God and all of Creation as Unitary in nature.    They saw themselves and everything as part of God.  In this state of consciousness, there is no feeling of trying to change other's beliefs, because all is seen as God and all beliefs are seen as valid paths (part of) God.  This 'seeing all things as One' is my current level of consciousness or state of mind.  Allow me to explain:

The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil symbolizes the concept of Duality.  It was by adopting this idea (symbolized in the Bible by the eating of the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil) that Adam and Eve fell from Paradise.  They began seeing themselves and all Creation as separate from God.  As such, they left "Paradise", which was that state of consciousness in which they understood that everything, including themselves, is part of God.

Instead of trying to help others restore their understanding of the unitary nature of Creation and themselves as part of God, you are simply asking that I adopt your belief, in whole or in part, in another form of Idolatry: worshiping YHVH (often incorrectly called Jehovah) or Jesus Christ.  This is the same thing Adam and Eve did that cost them the ability to live in Paradise.  I'm not interested in doing that and this is never going to change.
