CONSTRUCTING THE PLANETARY MAGICK WAND

Buy a piece of dowel 3/8” to 3/4” of an inch around and paint it.  Judge which size is right for you by holding various dowels in your right hand to determine which one feels right to you.  Suggested woods for this wand are either Bloodwood or Kou.  If these cannot be found, or easily obtained, feel free to use any wood, but if possible, Bloodwood would be best.  Lightly sand the surface of the wand to take off any dirt or uneven surfaces.  When finished, it should be exactly 32 inches long.  Then, paint the wand White.  Once the paint is dry, you will begin working on painting the rest of it in the following manner.

OPTIONAL:  Some practitioners put a Universal Fluid Condenser inside this Wand.  If you wish to do so,                           drill a compartment into the White end of the Wand two inches deep.  Make it seal-able.                                 Put in your Fluid Condenser and seal it.  Do this before you paint your wand.

1.  Measure seven inches from one end of the wand. At this point, make a thin, Black line. You can use

pencil here, but you will want to go over these lines with Black paint. Three inches from this line

(nine inches from the end), make another Black line. Continue making thin Black lines in this manner

until you have a total of Eight lines. When you are done with this step, your wand should have a

space of Seven inches at one end, about Four inches at the other end, and Seven spaces of Three inches

each between them.

2. Paint the top section the brightest White you can find.  Paint the bottom section the darkest Black you

can find.  Paint the other sections as shown here:

3.  Finish by covering the wand with a clear, protective coat, such as a varathane.  Give it several coats, if

you desire, for extra protection.  Try to use the brightest colors possible for your wand as well.

4.  Using Rubber Cement or Krazy Glue, attach a piece of Preseli Bluestone to the top of your Planetary

Wand, as shown.
