14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

The lamb and 144,000 symbolize the Spiritual Self and all the faculties of the psyche that have been purified.  The Father’s name in their foreheads means that they are all Divine in nature.

14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

The new song symbolizes the state of spiritual purity and that is the product of all the spiritual work the practitioner has done up to this point.

14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto gods and to the Lamb.

defiled with women” in this case does not mean never having had sexual intercourse.  It means keeping the psyche spiritually pure, and keeping yourself from being influenced by any corrupting subconscious forces.  This is being a “virgin” in the spiritual sense.

14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of the gods.

The spiritualized consciousness does not entertain thoughts or emotions that cause impurity.

14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear the gods, and give glory to them; for the hour of their judgment is come: and worship them that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

At this point the purer spiritual consciousness continues taking over, preparing to completely cast out the corrupt nature.  The people being told to “Fear the godssymbolize the thoughts of the lower nature, not physical human beings.  The truth is that the gods are not to be feared, for we all come from, and are part of, God. We are all divine.

14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Babylon is the “second beast mentioned earlier in this book.  The wine of the wrath of her fornication is the energy of spiritual corruption.  All parts of the individual can be subject to it.

14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of gods, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

The spiritual energies of corruption plague all parts of the psyche that continue to entertain them.  Having no rest day or night means that the negative manifestation of corruption will continue for as long as the practices are performed.  This means, as long as the individual clings to the lower nature.

14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of the gods, and the faith of Yeshua.

The desired mental state is quiet meditation, silence of the mind.  Thus, The individual lives in accord with the spiritual laws.

14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.

Dying in the Lord means transmuting the lower nature.  Those that do this receive all blessings, and the result of their decision follows them forever.

14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of Man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

The sickle is a tool of harvest, and the golden crown symbolizes authority.

14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

The time of gathering all pure spiritual energy from the psyche has come.  This is the job of the spiritual consciousness.

14:16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

14:17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

14:18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

The time has come to gather all the pure spiritual energy from the earthly nature so that it can be used by the spiritual nature.  These forces are the product of the spiritual work the individual has been doing up to this point.

14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of gods.

The wrath of gods is a force that is destructive\transformative to the lower nature, but invigorating to the spiritual nature.  The spiritual work that the individual has done is the fuel for the whole transformation process.

14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

The number 1,600 signifies the completion of the Wrath of Gods, which culminates in the destruction of all those thoughts that are not in harmony with the divine, draining their power to be used by the Divine Consciousness in the individual.  When applied to the physical planet, this signifies the complete destruction of all those that abuse spiritual power and prevent or discourage people from practicing spirituality.
