20:1 And I saw an angel come down from the heavens, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
The angel with the key to the bottomless pit is the energy of the spiritual consciousness, seeking to remove buried negativity from the psyche.
20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and the Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
The ego is thrown into a state of frustration, and rendered unable to take control of the psyche. However, this only holds true while the spiritual consciousness dominates. The ego is a necessary part of the psyche. It is our sense of Self. This is needed for survival and never to be completely destroyed while the individual still lives. A little ego is necessary in order to live a productive life.
20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Yeshua, and for the Word of the Gods, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with the Messiah a thousand years.
The Spiritual Consciousness (spiritual forces and ideas, symbolized by the thrones and souls) dominates the psyche during all the time that the ego does not.
20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
During the time that the spiritual consciousness dominates, the lower thoughts and feelings cannot surface. However, they must be allowed to surface occasionally. This is symbolized by the reincarnation process that occurs after the Messiah’s reign. The process of purification continues to work upon them while they are repressed. Their allowed to surface to keep the consciousness balanced and allow the spiritual energy to continue washing through them.
20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of gods and of the Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
The individual that has knowledge of this process and takes part in it is a true priest or priestess.
20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, the Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
The ego begins to surface again, wielding power over the worldly influences.
20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from the gods out of the heavens, and devoured them.
This time, when the forces threaten to corrupt the psyche, they are spiritually destroyed by the spiritual consciousness and its energy.
20:10 And the Satan that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
The ego, self-delusion, and greed are all now permanently transmuted and put through eternal purification: an ongoing process fueled by the personal spiritual work the individual continues to do.
20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heavens fled away; and there was found no place for them.
The Spiritual Consciousness now manifests even more prominently to further evaluate the psyche, removing all that is no longer needed by the Consciousness.
20:12 And I saw the Dead, Small and Great, stand before YHVH; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
All the thoughts are judged using the spiritual record of their activities.
20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and Death and Hades delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
All thoughts of guilt, self-condemnation, regret and frustration are judged according to their activities.
20:14 And Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the Second Death.
Death, guilt, self-condemnation, regret, and frustration are all man made ideas. Having not evolved, and no longer serving a purpose, they are transmuted\destroyed.
20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
All thoughts of greed are also destroyed.
