Tyr is the rune to use in cases where you need to win in combat. Invoked, it brings strength to overcome opposition. Also, the regular performance of the two protection rituals that are given later in this text will have this effect.

Bjarka, Eiwaz, Madr – BEM. This spell creates a vortex of energy that pulls the spirit of something back into its physical body.

The thirteenth rune-spell spoken of is As, Lagu, and Ur, or “ALU”. To “sprinkle with water”, means to remind the person of their soul’s purpose of spiritual evolution and help them get back onto their true path. This is the purpose of this rune-spell. When this is done, the person will be able to remove obstacles before they become physical problems because they can be sensed while they are spiritual energies before they manifest physically. So, to “sprinkle with water” from ALU means to teach someone the basics of metaphysics\magick so they can use that knowledge to start or compliment their own spiritual path. It is also possible to charge water with these runes and sprinkle that on the individual. This can improve their mental focus and remove obstacles from their path.

All the teachings contained in the “rune-spells” are things that humans forget when they “go astray” from their true spiritual path which in today’s world usually occurs when people are still quite young. The person must then be reminded of this knowledge later in life in order to find true happiness.
